Coordination and Advisory Council of RMC on issues of Soil science, Agrochemistry, Soil Protection – is the highest advisory body of management of the Centre for planning and coordination of research and development work, evaluation of academic performance and research.

Council of the Centre has sections: “Soil Science”, “Protection of soils”, “Agrochemistry”.

Coordination and Advisory Council of RMC on issues of Soil science, Agrochemistry, Soil Protection include full members and corresponding members of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, leading NAAS scientists and its scientific institutions, higher educational institutions of agricultural profile, leading specialists of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and its institutions.

Tasks and functions of the Coordination and Advisory Council:

• Organization of analysis of efficiency and the state of scientific and technical support in the field of soil science, agrochemistry, soil protection, development of concepts of their development, review and discussion at the sessions of the analysis and project concepts;
• Consideration of draft research programs which are developed by the Major scientific institution of the Centre with the participation of research institutions that are part of it;
• Consideration of draft regulatory guidance documents, recommendations, book manuscripts, prepared by academic institutions, members of the Centre;
• Monitoring the research progress of the scientific institutions, methodological research, and ways of increasing the effectiveness of research;
• Consideration of reports on the work of agencies of the Centre and summary report of its main scientific institution of the execution of NAAS research programs;
• The organization of scientific reviews on the problems of soil science, agrochemistry, soil protection, joint scientific publications;
• Report to NAAS on the state of development and the objectives of research programs that perform research institutions of the Center;
• Development of guidelines and determining the forms of international cooperation, the implementation of measures to promote the development of creative links with academic institutions abroad, including through participation in international scientific programs, organization of congresses, seminars and conferences.
